The most awaited day of the year was the school picnic. As a part of the outsourcing activity, a recreational picnic was arranged for the students of grades I to III on 10th October 2023, Tuesday. The venue was the National Bal Bhawan and Zoological Park (Delhi). The children were very happy and excited to go for the picnic with their bags packed with snacks, games and a lot more.
Students were all set to have a fantastic day out with their friends and teachers. On reaching the zoo, the children enthusiastically explored the alluring beauty and bounties of nature. The students were divided into smaller groups to visit the zoo in an eco-friendly rickshaw to observe different types of animals, birds and reptiles. After reaching the Bal Bhawan, students enjoyed the ride of a toy train and many more fun activities.
The students enjoyed mouthwatering lunch with their friends and teachers. The visit was a memorable one and it motivated the students to be sensitive and responsible towards animals and our environment. It was a wonderful opportunity for all the students to strengthen their bonds and everyone came back to the school rejuvenated.
A picnic was organized by our school to KidZania for classes IV & V on 29th September 2023.n We started after the prayer at 8:30 a.m. Children enjoyed on the bus. We reached Kidzania at 9:30 a.m. and were served with delicious breakfast. Right after breakfast students started exploring KidZania.
KidZania is an interactive indoor theme park. It is a miniature world for the students where they learn and explore through new experiences. Role play and hands-on activities help them to learn about different careers and money management.
Students enacted as firefighters, doctors, police officers, chefs and many more. They also learned about money management by spending and earning money through various activities like shopping at the mall, opening an account in the bank, getting a driving license, etc. They also made products like biscuits, Kinder Joy, and many more. These activities helped them stimulate their creative thinking and boost their self-confidence. The children enjoyed a scrumptious lunch in the afternoon. They enjoyed on the dance floor. It was a great day for students. They came back with sweet memories. When they returned, they were served with light evening snacks.
The students, teachers, and staff of St. Thomas School, Loni, classes VI to X, were in an exuberant mood on 6th October 2023, as they embarked on a thrilling trip to Adventure Island an amusement park in Rohini, Delhi.
The school had arranged comfortable buses for transportation. Excitement filled the air as the students boarded the buses around 8.30 am as they were buzzing with energy. Upon arrival, at Adventure Island, the students were treated with snacks and juice by the trip organizers. The sight of colorful rides and the sounds of joyful screams created an atmosphere of pure exhilaration as the place offered a wide array of rides, catering to everyone’s taste for adventure. From the heart-pounding roller coasters to the gentle merry-go-rounds, there was something for every thrill-seeker. The brave ones challenged themselves on roller coaster rides and Twister of Terror rides while others enjoyed the scenic beauty from the top of the Ferris wheel.
The highlight of the day was the delicious picnic lunch, which was set up in an aeroplane model, that was enveloped with water. The scrumptious food provided a perfect opportunity for bonding and relaxation among the students and teachers sharing unforgettable moments of joy and laughter.
The trip to Adventure Land was an incredible experience, creating lasting memories for everyone involved. It was a day of laughter, excitement, and camaraderie, reinforcing the strong bonds within the school community. After a treat of ice cream, the students boarded their buses back to the school. It was indeed a day well spent as the, smiles on everyone’s faces were a testament to the success of the picnic.
